AND THE WINNERS ARE....

The Amazing Race started at the Iowa State Capitol. Here's the group...don't they all look fabulous!

Directions were given and the teams were off to Gray's Lake. Hmmmm...guess the clue was a bit difficult for two of the teams as they took a little longer route to get to Gray's Lake. At Gray's Lake they had to put together a little kids puzzle, without the benefit of the picture to know what it was suppose to look like. Once that was completed, they were off to the Art Center.

Here they had to...of course....do some art!!!! One person in the team was the artist and the other was the subject of the picture. Here's the group doing this challenge...





The group was then off to Southridge Mall. Yes, there was a bit of confusion when they got there...some things had to change...but they all made it through and were off to the Iowa State Fair grounds.

Here's where things get a little tricky....we got off from the capitol quite a bit later than we had expected...and then some people got lost....and then....well, the sun went down (thus, no pictures)...making everything at the fairgrounds a little bit more difficult. So we had to do a fast forward and get people off to the Urbandale Library.

Well...as I said, it had gotten dark, so we had to call the game to an end at the Urbandale Library. The Amazing Race winners were.....Peggy Hoemann and Carol Warren.
