Susan had been a volunteer at DMACC's sWINE event the weekend prior and had brought a variety of wines that were left over from the event...so, we got to be our own judges! How fun to test a bunch of different kinds of wines!
We had appetizers too....I mean, what would an event be without food!!!
Gail brought along a plaque we were given by one of our non-profits we help...Big Brothers Big Sisters...because we had raised $1,000 during the Bowl-A-Thon. Way to go group!!!
Denise and Peggy had arranged for us to design and decorate our own wine glasses. There were some people with real talents...and others of us that should probably "not quit our day job"...but we had fun!!!

We took some time out to go outside and enjoy Susan's back yard...and it was a perfect place for a group picture!
We also got to get an "update" on the living wreath we saw Susan show us how to make at an earlier meeting. Never would I have guessed what she showed us would become such a beautiful thing!!!! Nice job, Susan! (See previous blog post for how this started!)
Unfortunately for us, we were saying good bye to one of our original members...Drena Olson. Drena came to spend a little time with us before she left the next morning as her family was relocating (or actually "moving back home for her") to North Carolina. We will miss you Drena!!!
