Here are the details....

The members of the Blue thong Beauties (BTB) of Ankeny are raising funds to build a gazebo at the Hope Ministries Family Center. The Hope Family Center provides long term housing for homeless and displaced mothers and their children, or women seeking to regain custody of their children, and assisting them through its long-term Christian residential and life-recovery program. The Hope Ministries Family Center recovery program is an 18- to 24-month program designed to help these women break free from the cycle of poverty and addiction so they can go on to become productive members of our community.

The BTB members of Ankeny have teamed up with a Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Building Trades class to build a gazebo to provide a relaxing place in the shade for mothers watching their children pay in the backyard. The DMACC Building Trades class is providing the labor. The BTBs are raising the money for materials.

All tax deductible checks are to be made directly to Hope Ministries and designated "GAZEBO". All donors receive a receipt directly from Hope Ministries for tax records. Thank you for helping to make this a reality.
