GET TO KNOW...DENISE MARX

A LITTLE ABOUT DENISE....

Denise grew up in Greenfield, Wisconsin. She's married to John (above) and she has two older brothers and one older sister. Denise is a sales representative currently, but did you know she once did drug testing on people in police custody?!

Denise first heard about the group by reading an article in the newspaper. So off she went to the first meeting alone. If you know Denise, you know she's never alone now that she's made so many friends at BT.

Denise's favorite thing she's done with B.T. so far is going up in the airplane at the Newton Airport (see earlier post) as well as the drive there and back (I heard there was quite a bit of laughter that evening!).

Denise said the craziest things she's ever done is when she took a cigar store Indian from a bar while severely intoxicated...and her most embarrassing moment was getting caught and having to take it back to the bar....luckily she didn't get arrested!

Every June 23rd Denise adds a year to her age on her driver's license. She celebrates by going out for dinner with her husband.

When asked if she could go back in time and change one thing Denise said she would have finished school while she was young, which would have made her degree different.

The most amazing moment in Denise's life was when her mother woke up after the doctor's had said her Mom was brain dead. Her Mom lived for three more years after that.

Denise's favorite quote: Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive.

Denise's words of wisdom to other women fighting frump: Just get out and do things. Do not become stagnant because then you become old.
