Upon entering the cafe the counter was covered with all kinds of goodies for our evening ahead!
Kerry, who by the way, doesn't cook/bake, had a game for us to play. Each person got a cookie in the shape of, you guessed it, a thong (flip flop style). We then had to close our eyes, take the spatula and frosting and try to frost our cookie without looking! Yikes!
Here's the first group getting their rules from Deanna.

Some people just can't follow the rules and have to have someone help them keep their eyes closed!
And some people go for the finger licking goodness of the frosting!
Others are looking very intense....

Peg was excited...she won the contest and got a "thong" cookie cutter!
After we were done doing the contest, we then got to decorate our cookie a bit more...with our eyes open.
If you'll recall, Kerry and Deanna called this night "Unleash Your Inner Cake Boss" After the fun of frosting a cookie with our eyes closed, we got to choose between pink champagne or double chocolate cupcakes, and then decorate them.
Carol really got into this...here's her holding her frosted cupcake....

Deanna and Kerry even supplied us with "spray paint" frosting....Here's Deb putting her cupcake in the "paint box" and getting the "spray paint" ready to go....
This one was really creative with frosting, sprinkles and licorice. When I took the picture from above, it looks like a pizza!
Deb Repp did a great job of making her cupcake look like a beach scene...complete with thongs!
The winner of the cupcake decorating contest was Heather. She really put a lot of detail into this one and went for the tall, pointed look! She too won a thong (flip flop) cookie cutter!
